Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs I enjoyed this, it was a nice quick read. Very interesting concept. Another book that I wouldn't have minded if it was a bit longer and fleshed out with more detail. It did seem to progress quite quickly. Of course, it's all about the mystery, isn't it? I'm happy that the ending was left open...completely works as a stand-alone book, but could easily become a series it would seem. This sort of story could go in a million different directions. The Emma / Jacob relationship is a little weird. That was the only thing in the book I didn't really care for.
