I really wasn't sure about this book due to the pretty-boy cover art, but the Celtic mythology seemed like a nice change for the Urban Fantasy genre, so I gave it a shot. It turns out that I'm glad I did. The mythology was refreshing, but what really made me stick with the book long enough to start fully appreciating the story line was Atticus' faithful Irish wolfhound, Oberon. I loved the humor that Oberon brought to the book, it reminded me a bit of Jim Butcher's writing, which I am also a fan of. Definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
